Fix MFT corruption to overcome problem of unbootable Windows 7 system

MFT (Master File Table) is the most important metadata system file which contains information regarding files and folders on NTFS (New Technology File System) volume. It is the first file executed in order to mount NTFS based hard drive. The MFT file system volume may get corrupted duet to fatal attacks of virus, file system damage, operating system corruption and such others. In case of MFT corruption, MBR could not read hard drive stored information which further leads to trouble in normal booting process. It then becomes impossible to access hard drive stored data and files. To overcome MFT corruption, data restore needs to be performed with the help of backup, it non availability is difficult to be tackled and require means to recover lost data.

In one such situation, while booting windows 7 system you may get an error as “recovering orphaned file xxxx. Insufficient disk space to recover lost data”. This is a critical issue and attempt to fix mft corruption with CHKDSK is rarely successful. As such the drive remains to be corrupt and it may generate error messages as “$MFT read error”. After any such error takes place, drive could not be booted.

Get Software

It happens so as a result of MFT corruption, which accounts to important function in system. To fix the issue and access hard drive data the system has to be formatted first of all, which will install new file system and thus enable proper system boot up. On the other hand all drive stored data gets deleted on formatting and to restore those, you need to do windows 7 lost folder recovery with equipped windows recovery software. They are incorporated with high end data scanning and extracting technology, thus ensuring exhaustive recover and restore of data lost.
